I want everyone to be able to use brettsellsflorida.com, including people who rely on assistive technology such as screen readers, keyboard navigation, or magnification. This statement describes what I do to make the Site accessible, where it falls short, and how to reach me if you run into a problem.
My commitment
The Site is built to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, which is the standard most widely referenced for website accessibility in the United States. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and I review the Site as I add or change content.
What the Site does
- Uses clear headings and a logical page structure so screen readers can navigate by section.
- Provides text descriptions for meaningful images.
- Keeps text and background colors at contrast levels that meet WCAG AA.
- Works with keyboard navigation, with visible focus on links and buttons.
- Allows text to be resized in the browser without breaking the layout.
- Adapts to phones, tablets, and desktop screens.
- Offers phone, text, and email as ways to reach me, so no one has to rely on a web form.
Known limitations
Some parts of what the Site links to are provided by third parties and are outside my direct control:
- The property search and home value estimate open on a separate RE/MAX platform.
- Blog posts are published through WordPress and may include embedded content from other services.
- The free probate book is offered through navigatingprobate.com.
